Police shut down central Florida pirate radio station advertising drugs & prostitutes
The Orlando station certainly had plenty of ads running. The only problem was, the station didn’t have a license, and the ads were about where to buy drugs, where to find prostitutes, and gang activity. The FCC, working with the county sheriff’s office, traced “Street Heat” at 91.3FM, after locating an antenna in a tree. They followed the antenna cable to a nearby house and into the bedroom of a home where the station was operating. Arrested were Balthazard Senat and Christopher Robert Roth, according to the Orlando Sentinel, and the pair were charged with unauthorized transmission, and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.
