Public Radio International names Linda Larson its new chairperson
Linda Larson is an environmental lawyer based in Seattle, and takes the top job as chairwoman of PRI’s Board of Directors. Larson, who has been with PRI as a director since 2001, says “In this time of rapid systemic change in journalism, public media is more important than ever to our communities.” Public Radio International provides stations with a number of shows, including “The World,” “The Tavis Smiley Show,” and “The Takeaway.”
