Rad Messick will program Citadel Media's "Classic Hits" format
Messick programmed in markets such as Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville and Cincinnati, and was most recently Senior VP at Broadcast Architecture. Citadel Media's Senior VP of Programming and Distribution Carl Anderson says "Rad brings unparalleled expertise and a strategic understanding of adult formats to our Classic Hits brand...the research component is critical to our continued success, and it's an area where Rad clearly excels." Messick contributed music and research writing to the former Radio & Records and the Chicago Tribune, and he served on the Affiliate Advisory Board of the ABC Rock Radio Networks - a forerunner of Dallas-based Citadel Media.
