RADAR 104 says 239 million Americans listen to a rated sales network
That figure is up from last quarter’s RADAR 103 report, and there’s more good news about radio’s reach (not necessarily time spent listening) from next Monday’s RADAR 104. Among people age 12+, 93.1% are listening to a station that’s included in the RADAR sales network ratings. The figure for hard-to-find 12-17-year-old teens is 91%. Network radio reaches 87% of adults 18-34. The Arbitron’s expanded use of the PPM (People Meter) brings a larger size and more stability to the sample, which will soon be close to 400,000.
