Canada Montreal's Virgin Radio CJFM (95.9) morning co-host Cat Spencer is leaving, and will head across town to CFQR-FM (92.5). He's replacing Aaron Rand in mornings, who is leaving in just over one month ... Vancouver's community station CHLY-FM (101.7) Radio Malaspina faces a possible loss of its license after Vancouver Island University claimed "general debauchery, trespassing, disrespect toward security guards and drug and alcohol use" at a campus event involving the station ...Major League Soccer's Toronto FC has re-signed with Rogers-owned CJCL-AM (590) "The Fan" as their radio home, with Dan Dunleavy behind the mic handling play-by-play ... Winnipeg, Manitoba's CJOB-AM (680) announces that legendary radio voice Bob Irving has joind the Corus Radio-owned station to host a sports show weeknights 6pm-8pm ... Calgary's latest BBM quarterly ratings are out for the period ending January 23, and there's a tie at the top spot with Rogers Broadcasting-owned lite-rock CHFM (95.9) and CHQR-AM (770), the Corus Radio-owned news/talk station. They're tied for #1 with a 9.6 share. In the prior book, CHQR was #1 closely followed by CHFM.
