Radio is a big rumor for the iPhone 5

iPhone Rumors of what the next-generation Apple iPhone will feature have been a regular event prior to the release of each one, and the yet-to-be released iPhone 5 is no exception. One site, iPadzz, reports, "Apple has recently been on a patent filing spree ... the company might be planning to bring radio to the iPhone 5 via AM, FM and Satellite signals." The British website dialtosave.com adds that the iPhone 5 will "be a fully-touchscreen device, complete with NFC integration, built-in FM radio." It has been widely reported that Apple filed patents that involve radio mapping that would allow the smartphone devices to receive AM & FM frequencies, as well as satellite radio. While Apple is keeping details about the iPhone 5 under wraps, it is expected that the next generation iPhone will debut sometime this summer.
