Radio Remembers: Iowa Public Radio host and news director Greg Shanley
He spent nearly 23 years with KUNI-FM (90.9) at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. The son of a popular Cleveland Browns football broadcaster, Greg Shanley made his mark in Iowa as a reporter, and also as the host of KUNI’s weekday “Talk of Iowa” show. Iowa Public Radio has a memorial page. Shanley passed away at the University of Iowa Hospital. He was only 49.
