Radio Remembers: New York state's Robert Eolin
In 1990, Robert Eolin, his wife, and his business partner bought Corning, New York’s WCBA-AM/FM, and later added WCLI-AM, WGMM-FM (98.7) and WENY-AM/FM (1230/92.7), all in the Elmira-Corning market. Eolin also enjoyed hosting “Breakfast with Jack & Bob” in his native Corning with his former business partner Jack Shane. Then Shane passed away in 2002. Soon after, Eolin and his wife sold the stations to Route 81 Radio. Now Eolin has died after a battle with brain cancer. He was 67.
