Radio Remembers: Upstate New York's Tim White & NYC's Emily Hoffman
He was a well-known actor & DJ in the Buffalo area who worked at WECK-AM (1230) and the former WMJQ (Q-102.5) – Tim White passed away suddenly at age 52. White was also a board member of Upstate New York Transplant Services. He had received a kidney transplant in 2000. Friends are remembering Tim here: … Emily Hoffman spent 15 years with WNYC (820/93.9) as a news anchor, commentator & producer, and also worked for WQXR-FM (96.3). Recently, Hoffman was hosting “Whole Living” on the Sirius “Martha Stewart Living Radio,” and also taught broadcast news writing at New York University. Hoffman has lost her battle with cancer. She was 53.
