Radio remembers: WJBR-FM VP/GM Jane Bartsch, and Sirius XM's Mario Comesanas
In Wilmington, Delaware: Beasley's AC WJBR-FM (99.5) lost their leader, as VP/GM Jane Bartsch passed away Tuesday night following a battle with cancer. Funeral arrangements are pending. WJBR announced that Dan Sultzbach will become interim GM ... He was the Liquid Metal host on Sirius XM. Mario Comesanas got his start on Seton Hall University's WSOU-FM (89.5), and quickly made a name for himself in the heavy metal community. Comesanas later joined Sirius XM as a host. Their Liquid Metal Facebook page has a tribute to him. Comesanas passed away following a brain hemorrhage after he went to a hospital complaining of headaches. He was just 30 years old.
