Radio vet Kesha Monk, coping with Stage III cancer, needs our help
Our prayers and well-wishes go out to Kesha Monk, former midday personality on Emmis Urban AC WRKS “98.7 Kiss FM” New York. Kesha was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer and is need of help from her peers in the Radio industry. She told the Urban Buzz, “I’ve had colon rectal surgery, a blood transfusion and I have started six months of chemotherapy recently. I’ve been very, very sick and as embarrassing as it is to admit, I’ve been jobless since the Randy Jackson show ended in October of 2010 and therefore I am without health insurance. I am literally drowning in bills.
