RadioTime buys the popular TuneIn app for iPhones
Ben Alexander’s TuneIn has sold more than 700,000 downloads for iPhone, iTouch and iPad, at $1.99 each. It already featured Dallas-based RadioTime, and now the app is owned by RadioTime. Alexander is joining the company that Bill Moore founded eight years ago, to work on RadioTime’s own iPhone app and also its “future iPad applications.” RadioTime maintains a convenient directory of tens of thousands of online stations.
