Raleigh's new "Rush Radio" will be the current country WRDU (106.1)
Clear Channel will put talkers Beck, Limbaugh and Hannity on WRDU starting in early 2010, which removes a country competitor for Curtis Media’s WQDR (94.7), but creates a threat to its news/talk WPTF (680). The Triangle Business Journal says Clear Channel’s Raleigh manager Dick Harlow says there will be a local morning show and local programming after Hannity ends at 6pm, but he doesn’t have any names yet. There’s more on the Raleigh-Greensboro Board of Radio-Info.com, here.
