Regent cuts a GM in Illinois
Regent Communications decides to consolidate management of its clusters in Peoria and Bloomington under a single manager. The leaves Peoria executive J.R. Greeley hitting the exit door. He took over the station group that includes classic rock WGLO (95.5) and “River Country 97.3” WFYR in mid-2003. Peoria and Bloomington are 35-40 miles apart.
