"Renaissance personality" John Evans to KCBS-AM&FM San Francisco
CBS Radio’s “all News” KCBS-AM/FM (740/106.9) hires radio journalist and music personality John Evans. He’ll serve as the station’s evening news anchor and work other shifts. Evans has worked in the Bay area since 1980, and made stops at smooth Jazz KKSF, rocker KSAN, Classical KDFC (where he did 7 years in drivetime), AC KIOI, Rock KRQR, and Rhythmic KMEL. Before arriving in San Francisco, he worked at Los Angeles' then-KNX-FM, and Seattle rocker KISW. Discuss it here:
