Reports say Slacker is “secretly preparing an on-demand music service"
A report by Wired Magazine says Slacker Radio is planning to launch an on-demand subscription service that combines elements of Pandora, Rhapsody and Spotify in the next few months. Wired Magazine says the new on-demand music subscription service will allow Slacker the opportunity to sell monthly music subscriptions, aside form from its popular free and paid radio apps, and listeners will be able to subscribe to hear the track whenever they want. Another advantage to the on-demand plan would be more elaborate station construction.
