Research In Motion tests a new BlackBerry Radio app
Although it's only in the beta testing phase and only available to select users right now, the maker of the BlackBerry is planning on adding BlackBerry Radio to their smartphones soon. Mobile Computing News describes BlackBerry Radio as platform where "users shouldn’t be faced with any hassles finding radio stations to listen to, thanks to just how simple RIM has made the app. Users can choose from a variety of radio stations which are available from internet radio platforms such as Slacker and other radio platforms like Clear Channel (iheartradio) and Sirius." The app allows users to pull in streams from various platforms and places them within one app to find the stream of choice easier. In addition, it's expected this new BlackBerry Radio app will integrate with the BlackBerry media player so users can purchase music from online stores. Learn more here.Previous and Next Stories
