Rhodes and Air America reunite on D.C.'s WZAA (1050)
The new Air America affiliate in Washington DC- WZAA (1050), debuted Randi Rhodes today in its afternoon drive slot, from 3 – 6pm. While Randi is now with Premiere Radio Networks, this move reunites her in this one market with her former employer, Air America Media. It’s just begun leasing the 1050 signal from Bonneville. Randi’s hiring moves the local “Live in Washington with Jack Rice” back to 1-3pm. Adding Rhodes and the repositioning of Jack Rice knocks Ron Kuby out of the daytime lineup.
