Richmond radio veteran Randy Scott returns to the air
He’ll be morning man on WZEZ “Easy100.5”. Scott was heard on legendary WLEE-AM in the ‘60s and ‘70s, then left radio in 1974 to become a TV sports anchor in Richmond and later Florida. His new show will be called “Breakfast in the Silver Diner with Randy Scott,” and will broadcast live from an actual diner. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports “’Breakfast’ will feature chats with local musicians, entertainers and politicians and also play into its surroundings by featuring music from the ‘50s to the '70s.”
