Rob, Arnie & Dawn Return To KRXQ – with transgender advocates
They've been off the air this week, following their comments about transgender people which gained national attention. Rob, Arnie & Dawn were back on the air on Sacramento’s KRXQ-FM (98.5), spending the morning with the mother of a transgender teen and a transgender advocate. The morning show went commercial free today from 7:30-10am, to discuss transgender issues. Rob Williams said “It has been made perfectly clear to us that our tone and our delivery, and our ensuing defense of our tone and delivery, made it seem that we tolerate abuse towards children.” You can listen to today’s morning show audio file by clicking here. Since news of the comments broke, more than 10 advertisers pulled advertising from the morning show and the station, including AT&T, Bank of America, Chipotle, McDonalds and Snapple – Discuss it.
