Rumors are buzzing about who Citadel will bring in for Washington, DC's 105.9FM

If there is anything certain about WVRX (105.9), it’s that since it flipped from smooth jazz to “True Oldies” and now “The Edge” as jock-less classic rock, the ratings have gone from bad to worse. Citadel is apparently planning some moves to bolster WVRX. Radio-Info has confirmed that the station is looking to hire some talent. The Washington area is buzzing that one of those talents may be former WJFK-FM (106.7) and syndicated host Mike O'Meara, who recently wrote on his Facebook page, “I will have a major announcement on Friday November 27th.” DCRTV.com is now upping the ante, reporting that longtime Baltimore radio host Kirk McEwen will travel down I-95 to host afternoon drive. Also that Suzanne Ansilio may be planning to move east from her duties with Los Angeles classic rocker KLOS-FM (95.5) to host middays and be music director. While O'Meara plans to announce his move on Friday, other news may come next week.
