Rumors persist of Washington, DC's WJFK flipping to sports
The latest information comes from the Washington Examiner newspaper, reporting that the change could happen due to the success of CBS Radio sister-station WJZ-FM (105.7) in Baltimore. Examiner Sports Columnist Jim Williams says “a number of Washington sports personalities have had conversations with management at WJFK about doing shows.” Along with “Big O & Dukes” and Mike O'Meara, WJFK-FM (106.7) carries Fox Sports Radio overnight, and is currently the home for University of Maryland & University of Virginia sports.
