Russ Martin, former Live 105.3 Dallas host, gets probation for assaulting his fiancee

Martin was arrested last summer following an alleged assault on his then-fiancee in their suburban Dallas home. He’s just pleaded no contest to the assault charge, and agreed to a plea arrangement of two years probation. Martin was also ordered to “pay a $1,000 fine, take battering intervention counseling and to have no ‘harmful or injurious contact’ with the woman,” according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. While Martin stayed on with then-KLLI after the arrest, he was fired when CBS Radio converted it to all-sports KRLD-FM “The Fan” last December. The Dallas Board at Radio-Info has avidly followed the high-profile Martin case, as you can see here.
