Ryan Seacrest is $45 million richer after a new deal with American Idol
The Ryan Seacrest empire continues to grow, with a new deal to stay on as the voice of “Idol.” The New York Post says the three-year deal is valued at $15 million per-year, and will triple his current salary with the Fox TV show. The Hollywood Reporter says this deal will make Seacrest the highest-paid reality host in TV history. Along with American Idol, Seacrest is also a big part of E! Entertainment TV, producing their hit show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” among others. He also took Casey Kasem’s place several years ago as the voice of the “American Top 40” radio countdown show, he’s been hosting the annual New Year’s Eve show on ABC-TV with Dick Clark, and he continues doing his daily radio show on Clear Channel’s KIIS-FM (102.7) in Los Angeles, along with his nationally syndicated “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” radio show.
