Sacramento's "Rise Guys" are headed to San Francisco's all-sports KBWF (95.7)
Whitey Gleason and Mark Kreidler will make a threesome with KBWF's Dan Dibley as the new 6-10am morning show on Entercom's new sports station in the Bay Area. Gleason and Kreidler have been "the Rise Guys" on CBS Radio's sports/talk KHTK (1140) in Sacramento. They'll debut in San Francisco on August 1, to be followed by John Lund (10am to 2pm) and Brandon Tierney and Eric Davis (2-6pm). Entercom flipped country "Wolf" KBWF (95.7) to sports in mid-April, in time to become the flagship of the the Oakland A's for the 2011 season. The departure of the Rise Guys from Sacramento's KHTK moves PM driver Don Geronimo to mornings, as of Monday, July 11. The Sacramento Board of Radio-Info.com is talking about changes at KHTK, here.
