Sacramento's "Zone" Updates to "Now"
CBS Radio’s modern AC KZZO (100.5) re-images to “Now”, featuring “Today’s hits without the rap.” The changes became noticeable on Monday when midday host Alecia B. was pinkslipped. In the latest PPMs for May, KZZO ranked 16th with age 6+ AQH shares with a 2.2 share. The Sacramento Board of Radio-Info quickly picked up on the name and positioning change that occurred Tuesday, and it comments on the large number of CHR and CHR-like stations in Sacramento, led by Entercom’s “End” KDND (in fifth place at a 6.1). The conversation on the Sacramento Board is here.
