Saga promotes Dave Musante to VP/GM in Northampton, MA
Musante has recently served as the general sales manager of the Saga stations in nearby Springfield, Mass. He first got into radio in 1996 at the Northampton stations as an AE, became the sales manager, then moved south to Springfield in 2007 as the GSM for Saga's classic "Rock 102" WAQY and rock "Lazer 99.3" WLZX. At what Saga calls the Northampton Radio Group, Dave Musante succeeds Sean O'Mealy. The stations there are talk WHMP (1400) and the adult alternative "River" simulcast of WRSI, Turners Falls (93.9) and WRSY, Marlboro, VT (101.5).
