Salem flips WWRC (1260) in Washington, DC to conservative talk
Salem took over the station following the sale by Red Zebra Broadcasting, and immediately changes WWRC-AM (1260) from business talk to conservative. The daytime lineup consists of all Salem Radio Network talent, including Bill Bennett in morning drive, along with Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, and Hugh Hewitt. Salem News/Talk VP Tom Tradup says “we are thrilled to extend SRN’s ‘footprint’ in our nation’s capital.” In addition to WWRC, Salem also owns Christian teaching WAVA-FM (105.1) in the Washington market.
