Sarah O'Connor named PD of Philadelphia's new "Hot 107.9" WPHI-FM
The big changes continue at Radio One's new "Hot 107.9" WPHI. Following their move up the dial from 100.3 as "The Beat" to their stunting as "Michael Vick Radio," Radio One has promoted sister-station WRNB (100.3) & gospel WPPZ (103.9) "Praise" APD Sarah O'Connor to PD of "Hot 107.9." Before the weekend, WPHI announced they would be the new City of Brotherly Love home for the syndicated Rickey Smiley morning show. O'Connor came to Radio One from New York City, where she was Marketing Director for Clear Channel's WWPR "Power" (105.1). You can listen to "Hot 107.9" here.
