Say howdy to freshly scrubbed Hank-FM at KTFW, outside Fort Worth
LKCM Radio Group’s KTFW-FM (92.1 FM) relaunched Friday, January 6 at 6 a.m., as Hank-FM, a broad country-based format in the realm of variety hits Jack and Bob. "Hank" replaces its previous “Country Legends” moniker. Earlier in the week, the station dismissed its airstaff, including PD/afternoon host Sam Lee, morning team Brian Christopher and Gwen Summer, and middayer Debi Diaz. Friday morning, the website offered the new Hank 92.1 logo, with a message saying, “Coming soon,” along with a “Crank the Hank” that launches an online digital player. LKCM Radio Group owns sister station KFWR (95.9 The Ranch) Forth Worth, and simulcast KRVF (106.9) Kerens, Texas, playing “Texas Country.” KTFW is licensed to Glen Rose, southwest of Ft. Worth. The "Hank" website is here. The Dallas-Ft. Worth Discussion Board of Radio-Info.com continues talking about 92.1 and "Hank", here.
