Scott Hennen to join KNOX (1310) in Grand Forks, North Dakota
He got his start in radio in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and now he's heading back home. Former Fargo, North Dakota WZFG-AM (1100) "The Flag" afternoon “Common Sense Club” conservative talk host Scott Hennen will join news/talk KNOX-AM (1310) for afternoons, starting May 31, and will also be available for syndication. Leighton Broadcasting GM Jeff Hoberg tells the Grand Forks Herald, "Scott, having worked in this market for 18 years, he’s certainly considered a household name here in Grand Forks and up and down the valley. It was certainly a perfect fit.” Hennen got his start in radio as a 20-year old DJ on KYCK-FM (97.1), but then moved to their sister-station to do talk, a craft he has been doing ever since.
