Shaun Holly Is the New Ops Manager for Journal-Tucson
Holly spent 18 years in the nearby Phoenix market in programming, promotion and airwork, six of them for Clear Channel and its Total Traffic operation. More recently he has been the market manager and program director for a six-station cluster in Flagstaff, north of Phoenix, and he has been the co-CEO of AXON Broadcast Partners. Before Phoenix, he worked on-air in the Dallas market. In Tucson, Journal Broadcast Group GM Julie Brinks says Holly "will bring an incredible depth of experience in radio programming with multiple formats, marketing, digital and market management to our organization." Holly starts in Tucson on March 14 at the four-station cluster includes AC "94.9 Mix FM" KMXZ, rhythmic oldies "Mega" KGMG (106.3), talk-formatted "Truth" KQTH (104.1) and all-sports "Fan" KFFN (1490).
