Slacker Radio expands Latin music menu, adds programmer Edgar Pineda
Radio steaming service Slacker has expanded its Spanish-language offerings with four new Latin stations. Memorias offers Latin oldies hits from the last three decades; Puro Norte delivers rural Mexican accordion-based music from Norteñas and Corridos groups; Romántica conjures Spanish-language AC; and Salsa showcases rhythms & beats from the Caribbean and Latin regions. In addition, Slacker's existing Puro México and Éxitos Pop stations have been updated. The service also adds 18-year terrestrial radio veteran Edgar Pineda to its programming team. His past posts include Programming Director for Radio Romántica Network and Operations Manager for the Super Estrella Network. Slacker’s radio content is free at Slacker.com.
