Slacker Radio expands Latin music menu, adds programmer Edgar Pineda

Slacker.com Radio steaming service Slacker has expanded its Spanish-language offerings with four new Latin stations. Memorias offers Latin oldies hits from the last three decades; Puro Norte delivers rural Mexican accordion-based music from Norteñas and Corridos groups; Romántica conjures Spanish-language AC; and Salsa showcases rhythms & beats from the Caribbean and Latin regions. In addition, Slacker's existing Puro México and Éxitos Pop stations have been updated. The service also adds 18-year terrestrial radio veteran Edgar Pineda to its programming team.
