Slacker Radio launches an app for Palm smartphones
The new free app for Slacker Radio breaks the hold that rival Pandora has on Palm devices. Slacker debuted the new Palm app on Thursday, and it is available on their website for download for Palm Pre, Palm Pre Plus, Palm Pixi and Palm Pixi Plus smartphones. Slacker is already available on BlackBerry and Google Android-based smartphones, and it recently announced they will have accessibility soon for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch devices. Recently, Slacker Radio expanded into Canada with a premium mobile radio service. The Palm app will be available in Canada as well as the United States.
