Sports Radio Round-up

The Naples-Ft. Myers market got a new Sports station today as noon, as WPTK-AM (1200) flipped from Spanish tropical "Rumba." The new sports outlet will feature Fox Sports Radio, and run syndicated shows such as Jim Rome, as well as Florida State Football, and six games from the University of South Florida Bulls ... In other Fox Sports Radio news, Coach Mike McCarthy returns as a weekly “NFL Insider” on “Out of Bounds on Fox” ... Greg Sharpe is the new radio voice for University of Nebraska football on the Husker Radio Network ... The Arkansas State Radio Network says for the 1st time, they'll be anchored by two 100,000 watt stations - KFIN-FM (107.9) & KABF-FM (88.3) ... Notre Dame's women's basketball games will be carried on the LeSEA Broadcasting Network via WHPZ-FM (96.9), and baseball will be carried on WHME-FM (103.1).
