Startup New Generation Adds Befera To Staff
Mary Befera joins New Generation Programming as national director of affiliate sales. New Generation is the company recently launched by veteran radio programmers Chip Miller and Chuck Geiger offering localized programming for radio stations in multiple formats, including CHR, classic rock, country, classic hits, AC and hot AC. Later in the year, the company plans to expand into triple-A, alternative and urban AC. Befera’s radio and records experience includes posts as GM for Clear Channel/Duluth, Minn., VP of sales for Virginia Broadcast Company and founding partner at the Web site allaboutcountry.com.
