Stations across the nation are making the flip to the holidays

While it is surprising that not one New York City radio station has yet to make the move to holiday songs, across the nation we’re hearing a lot more “Santa Got Run Over By a Reindeer.” The very first thing WLTE-FM (102.9) in Minneapolis did this morning was change over to Christmas music … In Upstate New York, the usual country playlist is on hold for Roser Communications-owned WBGK-FM (99.7) in Utica and simulcast sister-station WBUG-FM (101.1), as both are playing country Christmas music … Clear Channel Roanoke WSNV-FM (93.5) & WSNZ-FM (101.7) in Lynchburg, Virginia both flipped to holiday hits, says VARTV … Tulsa, Oklahoma’s KBEZ-FM (92.9) put “Today’s Variety and Yesterday’s Favorites” on hold for the holidays … In Fresno, California, Clear Channel’s KSOF-FM (98.9) drops “Soft Rock” for holiday songs – Discuss it.
