Stations once dark, are now back
After six-month in the dark, Texas Tech University’s KTXT (88.1) in Lubbock, returned to the air earlier this month playing Jazz. The Student-run and funded station station went off the air Dec. 10, amid administration concerns over operating costs … A year after it was sold to Bible Broadcasting Network, Religious KBZR (102.7) Lincoln, NE has completed its tower move, changing its city of license to Papillion, and increasing its coverage of the Omaha market. Bible Broadcasting moved its Catholic programming, once heard on KVSS (88.9) Omaha, to KBZR, and it’s expected to make an official call letter change to KVSS as well.
