StreamTheWorld will launch an iPad application at April's NAB Show
The company that streams over 1,600 radio and television stations in 20 countries, including partnerships with CBS, AOL, Corus and Entercom, will offer an app for the soon-to-debut Apple iPad. Canada-based StreamTheWorld says they will unveil the new app at the NAB Show in Las Vegas in mid-April. StreamTheWorld VP of Product Management & Development Jean-Philippe Gauthier says, “it will appeal in particular to heavy content users … we are pleased to have developed this application for the ‘dream device’ that has kept the radio industry in North America and Europe abuzz for months now.” The Apple iPad is scheduled to become available in April.
