Talk personality Nicole Sandler arrested at a Florida Town Hall meeting
Former Miami WINZ-AM (940) and Air America talk show host Nicole Sandler was arrested at a meeting held by recently-elected Rep. Allen West in Ft. Lauderdale. Sandler, who currently hosts an internet radio show, was with a group of people questioning West's stance of the GOP-proposed budget that would change Medicare. Some were reportedly speaking loudly in replay to some of West's comments. At one point in a video taken during the meeting, you can see Sandler being escorted out of the meeting. Immediately after, Sandler was heard on the video asking for a police officer's name and badge number, and when the officer attempted to lead her out of the building, Sandler said loudly, "Get your hand off of me." at that point, the officer takes hold of Sandler's arm and handcuffs her. Sandler was arrested, charged with Trespassing After Warning. You can watch Sandler's arrest here.
