Talker Michael Savage offers candidate Newt Gingrich $1 million to drop out
It is a limited offer, however, says the Savage website. It’s only good for 72 hours. TRN-syndicated Savage says “Newt Gingrich is unelectable. Mitt Romney is the only candidate with a chance of defeating Barack Obama, and there is nothing more important than that for the future health, safety and security of the United States of America…therefore, I am offering Newt Gingrich $1 million to drop out of the presidential race, for the sake of the nation.” He suggests that Newt “take the money, and don’t run.” Regardless of what Gingrich does, the gambit is a great publicity generator for Savage.
