"The Beat" drops Aaron Maxwell in Richmond as PD
Aaron Maxwell spent about eight years with Clear Channel in Richmond, Virginia, and was the PD of urban WBTJ-FM (106.5). Prior to joining “The Beat,” Maxwell was the PD of Richmond rival Radio One’s WCDX-FM (92.1). He also worked in Jacksonville on WJBT-FM (93.3), licensed to Callahan, Florida. Radio-Info has learned that Mike Street, a daytime DJ on “The Beat”, has been named acting-PD until a successor is named.
