The Conclave announces $60,000 in scholarship help to future broadcasters
The Conclave's 2012 Radio and Music Industry Scholarship Program includes scholarships at the Broadcast Center in St. Louis, the Detroit-area Specs Howard School of Media Arts, the McNally-Smith College of Music in St. Paul and the Media Institute in Madison and Minneapolis. The deal is different at each institution, and the Conclave website has details about what to consider and how to apply, here. Those scholarships, plus “baccalaureate scholarships” to be won by college radio staffers, will be awarded at the 2012 Summer Learning Conference in Minneapolis, July 18-20.
