The first-ever RAIN Summit Midwest announces its Saturday lineup
Kurt Hanson has released the agenda for Saturday’s RAIN Summit Midwest. It will include a keynote address from Chicago host& DJ-turned podcaster Steve Dahl, who will discuss music radio’s online future, his views on the future of FM radio, and opportunities for broadcasters in the world of podcasting. After a welcome by RAIN’s publisher Hanson and journalist Michael Schmitt, radio programmer and consultant Kipper McGee will host a presentation on “Taking Control of Your Future.” That’s followed by a panel on “New Media Tools and Techniques,” moderated by Cox Radio’s Gregg Lindahl and the debut of a national research study by Coleman Insights president/COO Warren Kurtzman. Hanson will then give the “State of the Industry Address,” followed by a panel group on “Programming Your Station’s Stream,” moderated by AccuRadio.com COO John Gehron and featuring Journal Broadcast Group’s head of radio programming Tom Land.
