The fourth-quarter BBM ratings are in for Montreal & Toronto
Montreal's BBM ratings leader for English-language stations is news/talk CJAD-AM (800), which scored a dominating 24.4 share of the audience, among listeners age 2 and older. You can listen to "800-AM" here. The top French-language station is another news/talker, Cogeco-owned CHMP-FM (98.5), overtaking "Rythme-FM" CFGL-FM (105.7) for the top-spot. In Toronto, AC CHFI-FM (98.1) remains the top choice, with a 12.9 share and a cume of 5.1 million. Normally a Lite-AC station, "98.1 CHFI" is currently playing Christmas music. In a tight race for second place, CBC Radio 1's CBLA-FM (99.1) scored its highest-ever PPM rating with a 10.1, slightly behind CHUM-FM (104.5) with a 10.2 share.
