The man who walked into a Tulsa radio station with a gun is officially charged
Tulsa, Oklahoma police allege that 58-year old Barry Styles walked into the offices of Renda’s KBEZ-FM (92.9) & KHTT-FM (106.9) on January 13, armed with a gun and prepared to take hostages. Styles went to the receptionist’s desk, specifically asked for morning host Carly Rush, then began walking the halls of the station with his gun drawn. Police were notified by the receptionist, who hid and called 9-1-1. Styles was later shot and wounded by police in a station hallway after he pointed his gun at them. Styles has now been formally charged with five counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, and is being held in a Tulsa jail after he was released from the hospital.
