The Niagara Falls "River" is now "Ed FM"
Haliburton’s CFLZ Niagara Falls, Ontario (105.1) has ditched the “River” imagery to become “80s...90s…& Whatever Else.” The new station name is “105.1 Ed FM.” The general format category is variety hits, with “a massive song list” that’s stocked with “all the great hits you’re familiar with plus a ton of tunes that you may not have heard in a while.” The morning show is “Ed’s Big Breakfast Morning Show” with Rob White and Kim Rossi. J.T. Edwards has afternoons. Haliburton’s VP of Operations Ross Davies says the company has been working on both FMs around Niagara Falls and southern Ontario, also making “improvements with the New Z101”, which is rhythmic CKEY.
