The year's biggest deal? Rose City sells KXL & KXTG Portland, OR for $11 million

Larry Wilson returns to radio with the purchase of KXL and KXTG from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s Rose City Radio. The stations are Talk KXL (750) and Sports KXTG (95.5). KXTG was the former home of Rhythmic CHR KXJM “Jammin 95.5”, before it flipped in May of 2008. Wilson founded Citadel and later sold it to Forstmann Little, as the Oregonian newspaper reports in this morning’s edition. His new company is called Alpha Broadcasting, and it’s backed by Portland’s Endeavour Capital. Broker on this deal is Doug Ferber, for seller Rose City Radio.
