This could be "Strike Three" for former K-Fan, Minneapolis host Jeff Dubay
The demons seem to be getting the better of the former KFAN-AM (1130) sports talk host. Jeff Dubay is back behind bars, this time after court-ordered drug tests came back positive for cocaine on three occasions in the last two months. Dubay was given two other chances, flunking out of two other substance abuse programs after failing to stay away from drugs. At a court hearing this week, a judge ordered Dubay to serve the remaining 88 days of his original 180-day sentence for drug possession, and tacked on an additional 90 days in prison. He can still face further prison time if he does not avoid cocaine. Dubay spent a decade as the midday co-host on KFAN’s midday show. He was fired shortly after his October 2008 arrest for cocaine possession.
