Tom Joyner re-ups with Atlanta's "Kiss 104.1" WALR
Cox Atlanta Urban AC “Kiss 104.1” WALR locks in the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning show through at least 2011. While the exact amount of time is not announced, Rodney Ho of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution says it could be as long as another five years. He also notes: “… Joyner is doing just fine in Atlanta despite very tough competition. The station now often ranks second among 25 to 54 year olds, behind only Frank & Wanda at V-103. He beats Harvey, who is on a somewhat inferior signal at 107.5.” Joyner’s syndicated show joined what was then Kiss 104.7 in 1995. Discuss it.
